Not Familiar with Bike for Life?
"Bike for Life" is a safe and fun environment where a team of trained professionals and volunteers safely teach people everything involved in how to ride a bicycle.
Through Bike for Life camp, each rider will go home with:
1. Knowledge of how to ride a bike
2. If they need one, a helmet of their own
3. A full adjustment to their bicycle so that they can safely practice after camp is complete
Using specially-designed bikes that can be adapted to any skill level or disability. Riders are paired with two volunteer assistants during daily sessions where they gain the skills to ride a two-wheeled bike!
Join us in a fun, and action-packed week where you will watch the camp participants grow in confidence and pride in their bike riding skills.
Where at all possible we do ask volunteers to consider volunteering their time for the same sessions each day at camp for the entire week. This enables our riders to build trust and rapport with their team.
